Just got an ender 3 v2 neo from creality! Here’s how my first few minutes went.
The unboxing
The unboxing was slightly better than most cheap-ish chinese type things – decently packaged, with good (is it closed-cell?) foam, not the type that crumbles and leaves snow everywhere.
It came in 3 parts, along with a little bag of goodies (scraper, small flush cutters, allen keys, a small roll of filament – maybe 100g). The base (including the build plate), the gantry with hotend, and the screen were separate, and required assembly.
Assembly
The assembly was slightly awkward, but easy and quick. 4 bolts through the base and into the bottom of the gantry on each side, and two t-channel nuts and bolts into the screen to mount it to the side of the base.
First Print
My first print went smoothly, and so has every print since. Quality is nothing amazing, but definitely decent. I’m yet to have any problems with this printer, other than a small issue when I set the temperature too low for a new brand of PLA+.
