Decided I’m sick of scrolling through 500+ words of backstory when looking for a cocktail recipe on someone’s blog. So I’ll dump some recipes here. None of them are mine/written by me, except the ones that are mine.

This one is just all the cocktails from OpenWRT. For the people (including me) who use a sane measurement system, 1 oz = about 30 mL

White Russian

• 2 oz Vodka
• 1 oz Kahlua
• 1/2 oz cream (or milk)

Mix the vodka and Kahlua together over ice, then float the cream on top.

Kamikaze

Great drink!

• 1 oz vodka
• 1 oz lime juice
• 1 oz triple sec (I use Cointreau)

Pour them all into a shot glass or double it and pour into a rocks (or martini!!) glass over ice (the latter is my preference).

Backfire

Never had this, probably never will. Bailey’s isn’t my favorite, and shots aren’t either.

• 1 part Kahlua
• 1 part Bailey’s
• 1 part vodka

Layer the three (Kahlua on the bottom, then Bailey’s, then vodka) in a shot glass. The instructions from the original OpenWRT banner say to use 1/3 oz each.

Attitude Adjustment

The commit message for this one is descriptive. The attitude adjustment sounds like a great drink, I just have never had peach schnapps, sour mix, or cranberry juice on hand. I don’t think I’ve ever had cranberry juice on hand. I also have no idea how I’d measure 1/4 oz, so it might end up being a quadruple batch.

• 1/4 oz vodka
• 1/4 oz gin
• 1/4 oz triple sec (Cointreau would probably be fine here too)
• 1/4 oz peach schnapps
• 1/4 oz sour mix
• 1 “splash” cranberry juice

Pour all ingredients into mixing tin over ice, then strain into glass.

The original instructions said to pour the “ingredents” into the mixing tin.

Barrier Breaker

Another one I’m yet to try!

• 1/2 oz Galliano
• 4 oz cold coffee
• 1 1/2 oz dark rum
• 2 tsp. creme de cacao

Pour all ingredients into an Irish coffee mug filled with crushed ice. Stir.

Chaos Calmer

This is, the only one I’ve seen in the wild, on a Sophos AP100C.

• 1 1/2 oz gin
• 1/4 oz triple sec
• 3/4 oz lime juice
• 1 1/2 oz orange juice
• 1 tsp. grenadine syrup

Shake with a glassful of broken ice and pour unstrained into a goblet.

Designated Driver

• 2 oz orange juice
• 2 oz pineapple juice
• 2 oz grapefruit juice
• 2 oz cranberry juice

Combine all juices in a tall glass filled with ice, stir well.

As the name suggests, this one is nonalcoholic.
