Stop giving your startups and companies names that end in -ly

bitly, budgetly, boostly, cloudly, cardly, cordly, doodly, dogly, drizly, drinkly, dronely, elemently, fastly, foodly, framely, flamely, foxly, godly, gamely, goldly, homely, instantly, jumply, kitly, lightly, literally, moovly, namely, openly, pressly, punchly, quickly, rapidly, rawly, spicely, turnly, upwardly, vently, workly, xembly, zoomly.

I know why this is a thing. Company names are hard to come up with.ly. So are domain names. Libya’s registry has plenty of room for more domain names, especially the sought-after short domain names – and Libya’s .ly TLD is especial.ly helpful when looking for those domain hacks – having a word split between the top and second level domain name (like bit.ly).

But sure.ly we don’t need to make up hundreds of names that all sound the same.ly, and get confusing.

Surely all the smart people making these amazing products can do better.ly.
